We at Millworks appreciate that most, if not all suppliers of recycled timber continually harp on about the inherent aesthetic virtues of their material such as  - character, uniqueness, warmth, richness, historic provenance ... while providing superior structural integrity via the attributes of - density, durability and stability ... topped off with the environmental tout of  - sustainability, eco-friendly, responsible choice  ...   ... ... blah ... blah ... blah!

And yes, apologies, as we are guilty of the same. We say with "apologies" as we trust that our target audience (which maybe yourself) has the intellectual capacity whereby they (you) do not need to have the blatantly obvious continually pointed out to them (or yourself)? In many instances the success of good design and material choice go unnoticed and remain invisible. While design and/or material failure invariably become painfully apparent. Whether your project is residential or commercial, consider the materials you choose for your Benchtops, Bar Tops, Table Tops, Stairs and Floors are the most important material choices you will make.

To date, we have supplied commercial Benchtops / Bar Tops up to 14 metres long and have never and will never butt-join material to achieve required long lengths (The Breakfast Creek Hotel, Sub-Station, Rum Bar - single piece of wharf timber @ 14 metres long & Cabiria Wine Bar - continuous centre-piece bar / POS / kitchen servery @ 13 metres long).

Our Shelving & Stair Tread material can be supplied in single piece widths up to 430mm wide before multi-board laminating is necessary to facilitate wider items. While any thickness is possible our standard thicknesses for Benchtops, Shelving and Stairs are 30mm, 40mm, 60mm and 80mm thick.
